Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi at the burial of Late Mama Victoria Immaculate Okwunwa Uzoka, Mother of Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite

Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi on Friday, December 6, attended the burial of Late Mama Victoria Immaculate Okwunwa Uzoka, Mother of Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite.

The senator was among the top dignitaries who graced the funeral.

President Bola Tinubu was represented at the burial by Hon Nkeiruka Onyejiocha, Honourable Minister of State Labour; Senate President Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio was represented by Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, Governor Hope Uzodinma was represented by Deputy Governor Chinyere Ekomaru.

Chief Tony Chukwu was also among dignitaries who were in Orsu Obodo, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State for the funeral.

They joined Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite CFA, and her family, to bid their beloved mother, final goodbye, as her remains were interred at the Uzoka family compound.

The Uzoka matriarch passed on at the age of 72 years, leaving behind her children, grandchildren and many other relatives, among whom is Dr (Mrs) Doris Uzoka-Anite, Honourable Minister of State, Finance.

Thereafter, Sen. Onyewuch also visited the family of late Chief Patrick Nkwopara to commiserate with them over his transition.

Late Chief Nkwopara of Umundula, Orji, Owerri North LGA died at the age of 79, leaving behind many children, grandchildren and many other relatives, among whom is Chief Darlington Nkwopara, his first son resident in the USA.
